Another round of coronavirus stimulus payments is on the way for the millions of Americans financially struggling because of the public health crisis.
In December, the $900 billion Covid relief package was signed into law, giving individuals a stimulus check up to $600 per adult and $600 per child. At the full benefit amount, a family of four could potentially receive $2,400.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told CNBC that qualifying Americans could see direct payments reach their bank accounts in a matter of days. The Treasury also has the capacity to deliver five to seven million paper checks a week, in addition to checks for other federal programs.
